27 August 2007 - I’ve never liked things to be “simple” and “common” and had been pondering over the idea of customising our ring pillow. Sad to say, the soft toys provided by wedding retailers for ring pillows are pretty common, like dogs, teddy bears, hello kitties...etc. Nothing special, or should I say, we don’t see the significance of attaching a pair of teddy bears to our ring pillow. Just as we were about to give up and place our orders for one of those teddy bear ring pillows, the thought of the little cat (representing him) and rat (representing me) soft toys sitting on my bed came into my mind. Melvin had bought them for me more than 2 years ago and I thought they were just perfect, be it in size or significance! Luckily, Shann from theweddingthoughts.com had one of those big heart-shaped pillows, big enough for our soft toys to sit on! I gave the dusty white rat a good scrub with washing powder and tada~! It became as good as new! It was a rush job, but still, Shann managed to sew the toys on really nicely! Our toys are now donned in wedding apparel, so cute!!
